This sculpture encapsulates fond childhood memories of my brother as well as our concerns over our current state of our polluted bodies of water. I fold-formed a paper boat out of copper like the paper boats my brother and I used to play with and set found barnacles as well as a beloved dinosaur toy to the boat. This boat sails a wave made of patinaed copper and found objects such as discarded fishing line and broken glass that was retrieved from local rivers and creeks.
